As an Internal Sales Representative, you are the connecting factor between supply and demand within this international trading company. You are responsible for your own portfolio of customers, depending on which languages you speak. As soon as the sales department has made a deal for your customers, you take over. You will make sure that everything is arranged from A to Z for the customer project. You check the order and make sure that all specifications are in order. When this is checked you will enter the official order into the system. Every order is different and every customer is different, so it is important that the orders are placed correctly in the system. Once the orders are in the system you make sure that everything around the order runs smoothly. To do this, you make a planning with agreed deadlines, which you continuously monitor and control. You also inform the customer about this. You also have a creative advisory role in the design and appearance of the products. This is done in consultation with the customer and internal departments.
In case of deviations from the agreements made, such as for example declining orders, you will find out why and how this can be improved. You also have various administrative tasks related to customers, such as checking orders, customer data and invoices, gathering information for customers and preparing documentation. During peak periods you may have to work overtime, of course you will get TVT for this. Furthermore, you must be able to communicate well and quickly in English and German with various departments.
In this job you will have direct contact with customers and make sure everything is taken care of from A to Z to satisfy the customer. You do this from within the company by phone or email. Besides the contact with customers, you also have a lot of contact with the internal departments. You also perform analyses and monitor and update customer information.
