Manpower is for a company looking for a Project Purchasing Manager in Hengelo.
As a Project purchasing manager you will:
- Manage procurement for specific projects, ensuring materials are delivered on time and within budget
- Use ERP systems to handle supplier data, purchase orders, track orders, and monitor performance
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve issues like delays or quality defects
- Oversee the invoicing process, ensuring accuracy and prompt payment according to agreed terms
- Handle claims and defects by collaborating with suppliers to resolve issues quickly, minimizing project delays
- Manage transportation logistics, including shipping and customs clearance when necessary
- Provide regular procurement updates, identifying risks and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to align procurement with project requirements, production schedules, and inventory needs
