FunctieomschrijvingAs an ASML Process Operator (5-shift), you will be responsible for processing requests from both internal customers and the field. This includes processing wafers, including coating, developing, cleaning, and defect measurements. You ensure the quality, quantity, and availability of wafers and play a key role in optimizing the production process.
A wafer is a thin slice of semiconductor material, typically silicon, used as the foundation for manufacturing integrated circuits and microchips. It undergoes various processing steps to create functional electronic components.
Your responsibilities include overseeing and maintaining critical coating, developing, measurement, and recycling systems to ensure smooth production. You will handle priorities, communicate with internal customers about service requests, and ensure processes meet the highest safety and quality standards.
Your other responsibilities will be:
- Monitoring and adjusting equipment performance;
- Escalating issues when needed;
- Initiating process and product improvements;
- Maintaining accurate documentation;
- Performing 5S+1 activities to improve workplace efficiency;
- Executing prescribed OCAP (Out of Control Action Plan) procedures.
We are looking for a driven and technically skilled professional with an eye for detail. You have:
- An MBO-level technical mindset, such as Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Process Technology
- Experience in a production environment, preferably within the high-tech industry
- An analytical and solution-oriented mindset
- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
- Willingness to work in a 5-shift system (2x 07:00-15:30, 2x 15:00-23:30, 2x 23:00-07:30)
