De functieIn this role you will have the following duties and responsibilities:
- As a key cost estimator within the Life Cycle Support team, your contributions are crucial in developing outstanding proposals and tenders for upcoming refit and fleet support projects.
- You work closely with a dedicated project manager during on-site visits to fleet yachts, engaging in important discussions about project scopes.
- You establish effective communication channels with both internal and external stakeholders to assess client requirements, technical specifications, and other relevant information. Your expertise in gathering comprehensive data is paramount.
- You conduct thorough assessments of potential risks and technical challenges, providing recommendations for risk mitigation and alternative solutions.
- You create detailed specifications and formulate a comprehensive budget that covers the entire project, including any potential change orders. Concurrently, you generate sales-related documentation for submission to the responsible project manager, ensuring compliance with all relevant national and international procedures, guidelines, laws, rules, and regulations.
- As an integral member of the Life Cycle Support team, you collaborate closely with Project Managers in Refit and Fleet Support, the Project Buyer for Life Cycle Support, planning teams, and client representatives to enhance collaboration and achieve shared goals.

- Higher Vocational Education in BSc / MSc Mechanical, Maritime, or Finance is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience, with a preference for the maritime industry and/or yacht construction sector.
- The perfect candidate is one who seamlessly integrates profound technical expertise in shipbuilding, particularly yachts, with skills in cost estimation and finance.
