This is what the position looks like:
Customer needs? You translate them into detailed specifications and conceptual designs, as an architect mechanics at Sioux Technologies. You also define mechanical architecture, budgets, and designs for (sub)systems. You specify tests and integration requirements to ‘close the V cycle’. Also, you ensure high quality and reliability of delivered mechanical designs. Furthermore, you actively build and maintain internal and external networks to foster organizational growth. And introduce new technologies and solutions, driving innovation and pushing boundaries.
Besides that, you investigate theoretical working principles and apply them practically in projects. Those projects you lead, encouraging team members to take ownership of their deliverables. Next to that you collaborate closely with customers, architects, project managers and engineers. And lastly, you manage complex projects and stakeholder relationships. What to bring?
- A BSc, MSc, or PhD in Mechnical or Mechatronical Engineering.
- At least ten years (fifteen years for the senior role) of experience and expertise in the design of mechatronic and precision systems and equipment. Also, a proven track record in the field of mechanics within high-tech system and/or equipment design.
- Good knowledge of the English language both spoken and written.
- Strong leadership in guiding and inspiring a larger team of engineers and designers, ensuring alignment and motivation towards project goals.
- You have good stakeholder management skills. Because of navigating and managing relationships with various stakeholders, balancing diverse interests, and ensuring project success.
- You are excellent in problem-solving. You address and resolve complex challenges by applying analytical thinking and innovative solutions.
- And you have good communication skills that you use in effectively convey technical information to both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding and collaboration.
