Together with our three partners we are working on the development of a new CO² transport infrastructure to enable CO² storage at sea. With the Aramis project, we contribute to large-scale emissions reductions by offering a smart decarbonization solution for the steel and cement industries, refineries, waste incinerators and the petrochemical industry, among others. In this way we make an important contribution to the CO² reduction targets for 2030, as set out in the Dutch Climate Agreement and the European Union's Green Deal. Aramis aims for a final investment decision in 2024 and an operational start in 2027. The Aramis infrastructure will be freely accessible to third parties, so that other industrial customers and storage fields can be gradually added to the system.
