Are you looking for a job where you can work on cutting-edge technology? Then read on, cause we're looking for a Mechatronics Engineer!
De functieAs a Mechatronics Engineer, you'll work at the core of technology, focusing on the architecture, (re)design, optimization, controller tuning, and troubleshooting of this company's modules. Your goal will be to ensure that these modules can be manufactured, integrated, and assessed independently through tools and scripts. Each task will emphasize precision and dynamics.
While they often deal with picometers and angstroms, you'll also tackle challenges at the nanometer and micrometer scale-their first-generation technology has already proven itself. Now we need a growing team to industrialize their designs, procedures, and scripts, as well as address any issues that arise. This includes further developing new machine generations and adding advanced features.
This role demands a wide technical skill set, serving as the link between Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Software, Metrology, and Physics. You will closely collaborate with departments such as Production, System Engineering, and Service. Expect to travel around 5% of the time.
Over het bedrijfOur client is a Dutch technology company based in Rotterdam. Founded in 2016, the company focuses on the development of advanced nanotechnology products for the semiconductor, data storage and life science industries. They have a unique position in the market by offering Scanning Probe Microscopy (SPM) technology, which allows measurement and analysis at the atomic level. The solutions developed here make it possible to extend the life of computer chips, improve the reliability of data storage and discover new medicines, for example.
