Assistent Teamleader

Our client is the complete supplier of fresh food and related non-food products. With a wide range of products, they distinguish themselves in the market of foodservice wholesalers. The company is constantly evolving, and from Nijmegen, they supply customers in the hospitality, catering, fast service, and leisure sectors.

We are looking for a motivated full-time Assistent Team Leader to strengthen the team. In the dynamic world of food, there is always action, which is why the logistics team works hard in the evening to ensure that all orders are prepared for transport to customers the following day.

You will work in the heart of the organization: the warehouse. Here, more than 40,000 different products and orders for a wide range of customers are stored across a warehouse of more than 15,000 m². After a joint start-up with your team, you will get straight to work. You will move quickly through the warehouse to collect orders and ensure that the roll containers from different warehouses are properly organized for the correct customer and route.

As an Assistent Team Leader in Logistics, you will support the Team Leaders and work closely with them to guide the team. You will be responsible for the smooth operation of the warehouse, ensuring that activities run smoothly, monitoring safety, and training new employees. When the Team Leader is absent, you will take over their tasks.

The evening shift works from 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM, and because the food industry is always on the move, flexibility is no problem for you, even on Sundays and public holidays.

• You have completed an MBO-level education in Logistics; 
• You have gained experience in a warehouse, preferably in a Distribution Center (DC);
• Through the experience you've acquired, you have knowledge of logistics processes; 
• You are flexible, handy, and importantly: have a positive attitude;
• If you have a Reachtruck certificate, that's a plus; 
• A lot can come your way in the warehouse, so you are good at maintaining an overview and setting priorities; 
• If you see something going wrong, you proactively address it and solve it right away;
