As a Laboratory Technician in Bacteriology and Mycology, you will work in a high-volume laboratory where you'll be responsible for preparing and analyzing seed samples. Your tasks will include performing serial dilutions, assessing bacterial and fungal growth, and preparing controls and reagents. Additionally, you will ensure correct documentation and compliance with quality standards and phytosanitary regulations. You will also support your colleagues in laboratory tasks and help maintain a safe and organized work environment. Lastly, you will proactively work on improving processes and ensure precise work to deliver reliable test results.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing and processing seed samples for quality analysis
• Performing serial dilutions and assessing bacterial and fungal growth
• Ensuring correct documentation and compliance with quality standards
• Collaborating with colleagues in a dynamic team
• Maintaining a safe and well-organized work environment

Working Hours:

• 38 hours per week
• Working hours: 07:00-16:00
• Workdays: Monday to Friday

• Completed secondary education (MBO 4) or higher vocational education (HBO) in a relevant field
• At least 2 years of professional experience in a laboratory environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of laboratory techniques, including sterile work methods
• Very good command of the English language, both spoken and written

• Salary of €16.63 per hour
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per km
