Become a pollinator at one of the world's largest greenhouse companies in De Lier! Enjoy a stable schedule, rewarding work and the opportunity to work with a fantastic company.The pollinator's role is to manually apply pollen to the stigmas of flowers and plants, often using a precision brush. Your key tasks will include
- Pollinating flowers and plants
- Removing stamens
- Germination using a tablet
- Harvesting and inspecting seeds of tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers
- General greenhouse duties (no heavy lifting)
Working hours are Monday through Friday from 07:00 to 17:00.
This Dutch company ranks among the top five vegetable seed producers in the world, employing some 3,500 people in more than 30 countries. It specializes in developing seeds with improved disease and pest resistance
- Dusting experience is a big plus, but not required.
- Knowledge (basic) of English, Dutch and/or Polish
- You have your own transportation to the company in de Lier
- Gross hourly rate of 15.72 euros
- Bonus of 140% if you work more than 8 hours a day/38 hours a week
- An allowance of 200% for holidays
- Travel allowance for business trips and vacation pay
- Work at one of the largest agricultural companies in the world
- Work in a stable environment
