What will you do?
As a Warehouse Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for the overall control and management of materials moving in and out of our location. You ensure that inventory is accurate, processes run smoothly, and customer complaints are resolved quickly and effectively. You will act as the link between various departments and provide support for process and system-related issues. Additionally, you will play an important role in the implementation of our new Warehouse Management System (WMS) – Manhattan.
Your tasks:
- Conduct planned and unplanned cycle counts and empty location checks.
- Resolve process errors and inventory discrepancies.
- Manage methods and procedures for the most efficient and economical movement of materials.
- Analyze and report weekly KPI data, including inventory and location data.
- Evaluate and resolve issues with inventory, deliveries, and/or sales orders, providing feedback to customer service.
- Recommend improvements for processes and procedures to ensure inventory integrity.
- Comply with all quality requirements and safety standards (such as ISO), as well as work instructions and procedures (such as SPS).
- Provide support for the implementation of the new WMS system, Manhattan.
- You are a true team player with a hands-on mentality and a customer-oriented approach.
- Flexible and energetic, with excellent communication skills.
- You have an eye for detail and a strong focus on KPIs and results-oriented work.
- You are able to quickly identify and solve problems.
- You are willing to operate a reach truck and man-up truck (or learn how to).
- You have an MBO+ / bachelor's degree in Logistics or Transport.Experience in a similar role is a plus.
- You have knowledge of SAP (ERP), Microsoft Office, and preferably WMS systems (such as Manhattan).
- Language skills: English (required), German and/or Dutch is a plus.
