Over het bedrijf

De organisatie is opgericht als opleidings- en adviesafdeling binnen de International Dispensary Association Foundation (IDA Foundation). Later werden ze een zelfstandige organisatie. Ze verlenen diensten die de inkoop en distributie van essentiële medicijnen ondersteunen, en ondersteunen (lokale) overheden en organisaties bij hun zoektocht naar duurzame toegang tot medicijnen en gezondheidsproducten.

Er worden projecten uitgevoerd in de wereldwijde gezondheidstoeleveringsketen in heel Afrika, en hebben een innovatieagenda ontwikkeld. Dit varieert van een block chain pilot in het noorden van Nigeria tot het creëren van end-to-end zichtbaarheid voor het optimaliseren van supply chains met modellering en moderne technieken zoals machine learning. Na vele jaren in de particuliere sector te hebben gewerkt en ervaring te hebben opgedaan met het verbeteren van logistieke toeleveringsketens, wordt deze kennis en dit netwerk van de particuliere sector nu toegepast en benut ten behoeve van wereldwijde gezondheidstoeleveringsketens. Er is geloof in dat wereldwijde toeleveringsketens voor de gezondheidszorg kunnen worden verbeterd door middel van innovatieve nieuwe ideeën.

De visie is een wereld waarin geen enkele medische behoefte onvervuld blijft. Om deze visie te verwezenlijken, werken ze samen met overheids-, particuliere, publieke en liefdadigheidsorganisaties om gezondheidsinfrastructuren te ontwikkelen om lage- en middeninkomenslanden te helpen veerkrachtige samenlevingen te worden. De missie is om levens te redden en te verbeteren door het creëren van goed functionerende gezondheidstoeleveringsketens.

The organization was established as a training and consultancy within the International Dispensary Association Foundation (IDA Foundation). Later they became an independent organization. They provide services that support the procurement and distribution of underlying resources, and support organizations in their search for sustainable access to and health products.

Projects are underway in the healthcare supply chain across Africa, and have developed an innovation agenda. This varies from a blockchain pilot in the north of Nigeria to creating end-to-end visibility for modeling supply chains with modeling and modern techniques. Having worked in the private sector for many years and experience working in improving the private sector now applied and exploited for the purpose of executing delivery chains. There is a belief that simple healthcare supply chains can be improved through innovative new ideas.

The vision is a world in which not a single necessity remains unfulfilled. To enable these governmental, private, public and charitable organizations to develop health infrastructures to help low- and middle-income countries become resilient societies. The mission is to red and improve lives by creating well-functioning health supply chains.

Als AP/AR Accountant ben jij een onmisbare schakel binnen onze Finance-afdeling. In onze compacte en doelgerichte organisatie raak je betrokken bij alle facetten van de financiële administratie. Jouw brede verantwoordelijkheid omvat onder andere:

• 
  
• Gegevensbeheer: Zorgdragen voor de tijdige beschikbaarheid van complete en accurate data;
• Factuurverwerking: Controleren, boeken en verwerken van inkoop- en verkoopfacturen volgens de geldende procedures en accounting standards;
• Betalingsbeheer: Bewaken van de crediteuren- en debiteurenadministratie en zorgen dat betalingen systematisch en volgens afgesproken voorwaarden verlopen;
• Probleemoplossing: Onderzoeken en oplossen van betalingsafwijkingen en escalaties in de crediteurenadministratie;
• Maandafsluiting: Actief meewerken aan maandafsluitingsactiviteiten en interne controles documenteren;
• Procesoptimalisatie: Continue signaleren van verbeterpunten om onze kwaliteit en productiviteit verder te verhogen;
• Implementatie: Een actieve rol spelen bij de invoering van nieuwe financiële tools en procestransities.

As an AP/AR Accountant, you are a key member of our Finance team in a purpose-driven, dynamic organization. Your broad role touches on all aspects of financial administration, including:

• Data Management: Ensuring the timely availability of complete and accurate financial data;
• Invoice Processing: Reviewing, booking, and processing both purchase and sales invoices according to established procedures and accounting standards;
• Payment Control: Overseeing both accounts payable and receivable, making sure that vendor payments and receivables are handled systematically as per agreed payment terms;
• Issue Resolution: Researching and resolving payment discrepancies and handling escalated accounts payable issues;
• Month-End Close: Actively participating in month-end closing activities and maintaining thorough internal control documentation;
• Process Improvement: Continuously identifying opportunities to enhance quality and productivity within financial processes;
• Implementation: Playing an active role in implementing new financial solutions, tools, and process transitions.

Wat vragen wij van jou

• Een bachelor in Finance, Accounting, Economics of Business Administration;

• Aantoonbare kennis en ervaring met financiële principes, boekhouding en idealiter met het verwerken van crediteuren- en debiteurenadministratie;
• Sterke beheersing van MS Office (vooral Excel) en ervaring met ERP-systemen (bij voorkeur AFAS);
• Een bewezen klantgerichte instelling en passie voor het leveren van topservice;
• Analytisch, georganiseerd en ondernemend, met een proactieve en teamgerichte houding.

• Bachelor’s degree specializing in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration;
• Solid understanding and experience with financial principles, bookkeeping, and ideally, accounts payable processes;
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, with experience in ERP systems (AFAS is a strong asset);
• A proven customer-oriented mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional service;
• Strong analytical, organizational, and entrepreneurial skills, with a proactive and team-focused attitude.
