Reachtruck Operator – DHL Supply Chain (Veldhoven)

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Reachtruck Driver to join our team at DHL Supply Chain in Veldhoven. This full-time position offers 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend shifts. You will work on a rotating two-shift schedule: one week from 06:00 to 15:00, and the next from 15:00 to 00:00. Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Reachtruck Equipment: Efficiently and safely move and stack pallets within the warehouse, ensuring the safe handling of goods.
• Load and Unload Goods: Handle goods from trucks and containers, ensuring secure placement and proper storage.
• Support Inventory Management: Assist with cycle counts and replenish stock as needed to maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Pre-Operation Checks & Maintenance: Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on the reachtruck to ensure peak performance.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents, ensuring a safe work environment for all.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with your team to ensure smooth and efficient order fulfillment.
• Maintain Organization: Keep the warehouse clean and well-organized by properly stacking pallets and following designated storage practices.
• Report Issues Promptly: Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors for quick resolution.
• Documentation: Accurately complete all required paperwork related to reachtruck operations.

Requirements:

• A valid reachtruck operator certification is preferable but not necessary, however past experience is required.
• Solid knowledge of safety procedures and a strong commitment to operating equipment safely.
• Keen attention to detail to ensure precise pallet stacking and efficient inventory management.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while consistently meeting productivity goals.
• Strong English communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive Salary: €14.26 per hour.
• Option for the All-in hour rate of €15.45 per hour
• Shift Allowances: Enjoy additional pay with +30% after 18:00, +50% on Saturdays, and +100% on Sundays.
• Contract and Hours: Full-time position with an uitzendcontract for the longer term.
