The Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel is looking for an enthusiastic Guest Service Officer.
What are my responsibilities?
As a Guest Service Officer, you are part of our Security team. During the morning, evening and night our Security team takes care of the safety of our guests and ambassadors. You will perform regular security rounds throughout the hotel and outside the property and make sure to be present in the lobby. You have a proactive and hospitable attitude, help our guests and colleagues and have a keen eye for potential risky situations. Of course you take action if necessary to ensure safety. In case of calamities and incidents you are responsible for the proper handling of the situation.
What makes you a perfect candidate?
You can declare a Certificate of Conduct/ Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag
Having experience in the hospitality industry is a big plus
You are able to communicate fluently in English and Dutch (both speaking and writing)
You are flexible in working different shifts (morning, evening & night shifts) including weekend shifts, which makes your job even more diverse.

A major investment has been made in the hotel which will result in completely renovated guest rooms and public areas, including a brand-new bar, restaurant and rooftop bar & terrace. The hotel will expand from 402 to 500 rooms and an additional conference center will be constructed.
