Over het werk
You will be working as a production employee. We’re happy to explain what that means! To do so properly, we’ll first give you some more information about the product made by your new employer. Your new employer is an expert in creating measuring equipment for transport. The company produces small devices that are mounted in trucks and measure various factors — for example, temperature, GPS data, and humidity. Every day, trucks transport products such as strawberries, flower bulbs, and even COVID-19 vaccines from A to B. You can imagine that these products must be transported under the right conditions (e.g., temperature and humidity). The devices made at your new workplace monitor these conditions. How handy!
As a production employee, you help create these devices. To reach the final product, each device passes through several stations. You may therefore be assigned to the Programming, Stickering, or Packing station.
At the Programming station, you ensure the correct configuration is loaded onto the device. You’ll use a computer for this, which you are comfortable with. At the next station, you apply a label to the device to indicate which customer it is for. At the final station, the devices are packed and prepared for shipment.
