In the renewable, industrial and PCOG market, the Supplier Quality Engineer leads multidisciplinary teams on improvement projects with suppliers and inter stakeholders to improve performances on quality, delivery and cost.
What needs to be done?
- Analyzing and improve current suppliers performance and lead improvement projects in order to reduce cost of poor quality, for both hardware and documentation;
- Develop current and new vendors to our company required quality level within running projects e.g. Performing audits, FPQ's and/or executing PPAP-plans;
- Translating the essential technical, qualitative and communication requirement from the engineers to the supplier;
- Close cooperation with various disciplines within our Procurement, Engineering and Project management Team.
- Initiating frequent supplier performance reviews in close cooperation with our Procurement Team.

What do you need to bring?
- Bachelor degree in Engineering ;
- Experience with large casting, forging and machining equipment is nice to have;
- Minimum 2 years' experience in supply chain management within the Engineering-to-Order business;
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes in relevant industries and familiarity with Lean principles and value stream mapping;
- Fluency in English is a must and additional language skills and experience with specific manufacturing processes are desirable qualities;
- Strong organizational en planning skills;
- Result orientated and pro-active personality;
- Excellent communications skills;
- Constant drive for process improvement and have a never give up mentality;
- Willing to travel occasionally for supplier visits and performance reviews.
