Investor Services Associate
De functieInvestor Services is responsible for effectively communicating the firm's product offerings, investment philosophy, processes and resources to strategically position the firm to corporate and public pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, family offices, and other institutional investors, consultants and advisors.
As an Associate, you will work closely under the direction of the Managing Director in the Amsterdam office and assist the Managing Director in business development, marketing, sales and client servicing, deal structuring, building and maintaining relationships with investors and consultants.
You will become familiar with the content of the firms' real estate funds, as well as processes in due diligence and onboarding of investors and the dynamics of international real estate markets (US, Australia and Europe). Over time, you will be able to provide investors with comprehensive information about real estate propositions and answer complex questions about investment funds effortlessly and professionally. Over het bedrijfA US-based real estate investment management company with a global institutional client base is seeking an Investor Services Associate for its Netherlands office. The firm currently has $9.1 billion of institutional real estate assets under management on behalf of 126 domestic and international clients in a vertically-integrated platform, performing all phases of the investment process, including on-site property management.
Aanbod- Help leverage existing client relationships, assist in actively pursuing the creation of new client relationships and identify new sources of capital.
- Proactively identify prospective new sources of capital among the institutional investor community and assist in opening new prospect channels.
- Work closely with other client-facing members of the firm on all aspects of institutional marketing, sales and deal structuring.
- Support the Managing Director in maintaining ongoing client discussions and consistent follow-up to manage all client service requirements for investors.
- Join investor meetings.
- Visit relevant real estate conferences in Europe and the US.
- Involve and liaise with appropriate individuals based in the US sales and marketing and portfolio management as necessary.
- Provide market intelligence to key internal team members. Continuously evolve and update the firm's database to track capital flows and potential opportunities to help provide and organize an effective business development process that is fully integrated across the firm.
- 3 to 5 years of related experience.
- Able to communicate clearly both in writing and orally.
- Speaks/writes Dutch, English and German (preferred).
- Outgoing and proven self-starter, eager and motivated.
- Willingness to grow on content of real estate funds, due diligence/onboarding of investors and dynamics of international real estate markets (US, Australia and Europe).
- Entrepreneurial spirit. Flexibility and willingness to adapt to change.
- Good organizational and multi-tasking ability.
- Must be able to travel to Europe, US and Asia.
- Post secondary degree (hbo/wo) is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel PowerPoint).
- Experience with Dynamo (CRM Software) a plus.
