To support the growth in projects and technology development, we are looking for a well-qualified: Lead Engineer - Engine Diagnostic Robustness
- Develop heavy duty diesel engines with focus on diagnostics robustness
- Analyze diagnostic monitor performance (false failures, detectability) using data analytics(vehicle fleet, connected vehicles & test cell data)
- Explore & compare various robustness improvement possibilities (Calibrations, Software functions, Hardware)
- Deliver improvement proposal plans for current and future projects
- Calibration optimizations, improved diagnostic functions, etc.
- Take part of root cause analysis and resolution process of field issues
- Identify necessary tests, for test cell and vehicle testing to establish an early diagnostic performance status for upcoming projects
- Collaboration in multidisciplinary project teams (i.e. Sw development teams, calibration & validations teams, service teams, HW design teams, service)
- Take initiative to constantly improve related tools and processes
- Based on the experience and analysis of vehicle fleets, Provide inputs on project requirements at different levels (property definition, function development, calibration level)
- Analyze, summarize, review and report out diagnostic performance of current product to (Project) Management

engines and aftertreatment systems including emissions, OBD and diagnostics.

- Master degree in Automotive Technology or Mechanical Engineering or Controls Engineering
- 5 years of experience in engine and aftertreatment OBD development
- diagnostic function development
- diagnostic calibration & validation
- diagnostic data analytics
- Experience engine, aftertreatment systems (DOC, DPF, SCR) diagnostics or controls
- Experience on diagnostic related topics
- i.e. OBD monitors, OBD regulations, diagnostics for service tests, ...
- Good experience in FMEA, Root cause analysis, P-diagrams, Statistics, Boundary diagrams
- Strong data analytics background
- Good English skills are mandatory
