As a Supply Chain Planner at IFF, you'll play a pivotal role in orchestrating the flow of products that delight senses around the world. You'll tackle the stimulating challenge of maintaining optimal inventory levels amidst the complexities of international logistics.
Key Responsibilities:- Align supply and demand by planning both short- and long-term inventory needs
- Coordinate and lead meetings with stakeholders and vendors to review purchase forecasts, proposed orders, and other operational challenges
- Monitor the movement of materials through purchasing, storage, production, and distribution
- Set and maintain preferred stock levels while preventing excess inventory
- Resolve raw material shortages and collaborate with local material coordinators and supply chain managers to ensure a smooth planning process
- Drive optimization of material availability, global inventory days, and manage obsolete or slow-moving inventory
- Design and create new tools to improve supply chain planning functions
- Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, timely delivery, and contract compliance
- A temporary full-time position for approximately 4 months

- Prior experience in supply chain planning or a similar role is required
- Knowledge of MS Office tools, especially Excel
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken

- A continuous improvement mindset and accountability in your work
- SAP or MRP knowledge and APICS certification (or willingness to obtain) are a plus
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus, but hands-on experience is valued more.
