De functieJoin our Cloud Container Platform Team as a Cloud Architect specializing in GCP and Kubernetes. Design, build, implement, and maintain advanced cloud solutions to support and enhance the services used by the ASML software development community. Your work will be instrumental in creating a hybrid cloud platform to drive innovation and efficiency. Department Overview Your team is responsible for providing robust development environments for ASML's software developers. This environment encompasses development, build, test, and release processes, supporting continuous integration and configuration management of ASML's product software. Collaboration with over 5000 developers across multiple departments is key to maintaining and evolving this environment. Tech Stack: GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, Linux, Rancher, Jenkins, Scrum, Ansible, Puppet, Rundeck, API, Splunk.
As a Cloud Architect, you will drive the design and implementation of our cloud native container platform, focusing on GCP and Kubernetes. Your role involves:
- Platform Design & Implementation: Lead the design and development of cloud-native solutions and platform services.
- Automation & CI/CD: Enhance and automate our continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes, leveraging Infrastructure-as-Code principles.
- Cloud Migration: Collaborate with our Cloud Team to transition from onprem deployments to a hybrid cloud platform, incorporating Azure and GCP.
- Expert Consultation: Provide expert guidance to application developers, ensuring they fully leverage the platform's capabilities.
- Innovation: Balance state-of-the-art technology with security, performance, and stability while contributing to the evolution of our cloud architecture. Responsibilities

Qualifications & Experiences:
- Cloud Expertise: Proven experience with cloud-native development, particularly with GCP and Azure.
- CI/CD Proficiency: Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and practices, including git and test automation.
- Infrastructure-as-Code: Solid expertise in Terraform and Kubernetes, including hands-on configuration and development.
- Programming Skills: Familiarity with high-level programming languages such as Python, Golang, or Ruby.
- API Development: Experience with API development following industry best practices.
- Infrastructure Knowledge: Understanding of fundamental infrastructure components such as networking, DNS, DHCP, directory services, databases, and storage solutions.
