Manpower is looking for a proces operator for Dow in Hoek.
As a proces operator you will perform the following working activities:
- Independently following principles and procedures to safely and efficiently operate plant sections
- Responsible for excellent operation, reporting serious issues related to EH&S, quality, and capacity
- Operating process equipment and performing checks in the plant
- Monitoring process conditions, equipment, and control systems
- Carrying out assigned tasks from the Master Task List, such as checks, preparing equipment, and taking samples
- Aligning work and process results with plant and business goals
- Solving problems using troubleshooting techniques and participating in Root Cause investigations
- Sharing knowledge about plant operations and performing assigned Crisis Response activities
- Using knowledge and experience to improve plant results and Operating Discipline
