Employment agency Manpower is recruiting a Junior Site Logistics Technician for Dow in Terneuzen.
Your Role:
With the support of a mentor, you'll learn the ins and outs of the role. You'll prepare containers for loading or unloading based on the activity plan. Each role is introduced through hands-on training with an experienced colleague, and after passing an assessment, you'll perform tasks independently. Weekly rotations across different roles keep the job varied and engaging.
Key Responsibilities as an SLC Terminal Operator include:
- Heatingpit Operator: Heating tank containers in various heating pits
- Yardtractor Operator: Moving tank containers
- Reachstacker Operator: Moving full and empty tank containers on-site and loading them onto transport chassis
- Handling Raw Material Unloading
- CTT (Container Transfer Truck) Loading
- Wagon Loading
