Role
In this exciting position as HR PMO you create the conditions to accelerate the delivery of our strategic HR Programs and its related initiatives. You work closely with responsible HR Program and Project Managers, Change and communication expert(s), the HR Portfolio Manager and your PMO team members, working on dependent initiatives that contribute to our HR Strategy. You will flag and support in mitigating any related risks, applying a structured process and set of tools for leading both the people and organizational side of the Portfolio, Program and underlying initiatives. Moreover, you act as consultant / coach to the Human Resources organization to better manage Portfolio, Program and Project management aspects in our business and other (less business critical yet still relevant) programs.
Your responsibilities
- Supporting a cross-ASML multidisciplinary Program and underlying projects.
- Challenging and supporting Program Managers in driving the process towards achieving key milestones, managing solid planning, clarifying scope, and signaling and addressing risks and opportunities.
- Regularly engaging and interacting with individual program managers and experts from the individual program teams.
- Enabling the design, development, delivery, and management of key program status reporting.
- Ensuring proactive management of dependencies to other HR portfolio programs and business initiatives.
- Setting up and organizing Steering Committee and program board meetings.
- Driving effective decision-making at all levels (challenging the triple constraint: scope, cost, time), including timely and accurate reporting and metrics.
- Identifying, analyzing, and preparing issue and risk mitigation tactics.
- Driving effective communication and/or escalations on issues and risks and the required mitigation actions to stakeholders.
- Overseeing program portfolio quality control and reporting throughout its lifecycle, utilizing ASML methods.
- Understanding the perspectives of stakeholders to ensure the programs deliver the right outcomes for our employees and business.
- Building, maintaining, and utilizing a network of internal and external stakeholders/partners and representing the program portfolio within the organization.
- Communicating persuasively and precisely with stakeholders at all levels through excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Providing insights regarding quantitative and qualitative developments through periodical and ad hoc reports and/or analyses.
- Providing support in structuring new strategic initiatives into program roadmaps.
- Setting up, arranging, and facilitating meetings, workshops, and team sessions.
- Creating what is needed, not necessarily what is being asked, by challenging the status quo.
- Providing input and advice during the quarterly portfolio re-balancing process.
- Structuring and securing relevant program and project management documents and decisions, following up on actions and decisions.
- Evaluating and closing projects, identifying and analyzing lessons learned, archiving project and program documents, and handing over projects and programs to customers and/or line management.
- Contributing to the competence build-up of the PMO, Program Management and Project Management community.
- Actively looking for improvement opportunities to add value to the business and our PMO way of working.
- Participating in PMO initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the program and project management processes within HR.

Education
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree + program / project management certification (e.g. Prince2, IPMA, MSP)
Experience
- Proven track record in successful application of project management principles, methodologies and tools
- Proven track record in supporting large scale organizational changes with strong people change component
- Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience, of which min. 2 years in project/program management role
- Understanding of HR / People themes on business environment.
