Exciting position
De functieYou will make it easy
to leverage a wide array of data, including from the latest open-source standards. But what truly sets you apart is its ability to make that data actionable through its powerful AIOps and automation. This more intelligent approach enables to proactively show teams what the issues are, allowing them to focus on optimizing their service rather than wasting time querying raw data and building dashboards.Job Description
Be a partner for domain Architects to develop solution to attain Predictive Monitoring/Automation Maturity
- Develop together with the Platform team new platform capabilities and products
- Provide support to DevOps & Software teams when onboarding solution on the platform
- Build and deploy resources using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible, Python)
- Develop solutions using Automation DevOps, CICD, GitLab, Github
- Deliver/update documentation (e.g. Product descriptions, operational tasks)
- Be part of a multidisciplinary DevOps team which takes ownership of both new development and operational activities.
Monitoring is rapidly evolving as infrastructure and (Big Data) applications become more complex, distributed and interdependent. Cloud platforms, containers and DevOps have resulted in an explosive increase in telemetry and machine data that challenges support
organizations as they manage service-level objectives.
With the increasing use of distributed systems, observability also becomes increasingly important. Unlike more traditional systems, distributed systems consist of many more interconnected layers. While this generally enhances reliability and performance, it often makes it more challenging to obtain a good overview of the different components.
When the overview is lacking, it's difficult to determine how the various components are connected, making issues often a complex challenge. Observability solves this problem by revealing what is happening within a system based on data that the system has exposed externally. In other words, you can find out what is happening deep within the system.
With the shift to the cloud, IT and DevOps teams are now grappling with increased operational complexity exacerbated by an overabundance of existing monitoring tools that have blind spots, data silos, and disjointed workflows.
You will be their ''savior'' and enable, IT, Software and DevOps teams overcome this complexity and accelerate cloud & data transformation for their organizations.
