De functieAs an Operations Engineer, you'll join a dedicated team in Eindhoven focused on introducing new cameras and detectors. Collaborating with R&D and other departments, your role will be to support HE TEM camera business operations comprehensively. Key responsibilities include second-line troubleshooting in the factory and continuous product quality improvement. As an Operations Engineer this is called the SPR (Sustaining Product) role.
Your activities in a nutshell:
- Provide second-line support to the factory and service teams, ensuring high-quality system shipments to customers.
- Support the supply chain by analyzing parts for reliability, manufacturability, and supplier quality. Participate in supplier audits.
- Enhance product quality by implementing structured improvements.
- Maintain manufacturing tooling and documentation, define factory processes, and provide training.
- Lead or participate in New Product Introduction projects.

As an Operations Engineer, you largely recognize yourself in the following points:
- Bachelor's or university degree in a technical field (Physics, electronics, mechatronics).
- Proven track record in a high-tech industry, preferably in manufacturing engineering. Knowledge or experience with electron microscopy is a significant advantage.
- Good communication and social skills.
- Collaborative team player with a hands-on, can-do mentality.
- Strong problem-solving abilities; familiarity with Statistical Engineering is beneficial.
- Proficient in English (both verbal and written); Dutch language skills are a plus.
